Beverly Lewis

Novelista de ficción cristiana, guionista y autora de más de 100 libros para niños y adultos.

Lewis es una ex maestroa de escuela y músico. Comenzó a tocar el piano a los cuatro años y comenzó a escribir cuentos y poesía cuando tenía nueve años.

Gran parte de su escritura se centra en el Viejo Orden Amish. Su abuela materna, Ada Ranck Buchwalter, nació en una iglesia menonita del Viejo Orden, lo que interesó a Lewis en su propia "herencia simple". Su padre era pastor en Lancaster, Pensilvania (el corazón de la comunidad holandesa de Pensilvania), donde ella nació y creció. Fue criada y continúa siendo parte de la comunidad de las Asambleas de Dios.

Fue a la Universidad de Evangel y recibió el Premio a la Alumna Distinguida en 2003. También es miembro de la Liga Nacional de Mujeres Pluma Estadounidenses.

Casada con David Lewis y tienen tres hijos adultos y tres nietos. Viven en Colorado.
